A replacement battery pack for the Playmobil part 4392 and 7829
As used in Playmobil RC Train 4016 and many others.
Direct replacement. Requires 4x AA batteries (not included)
Can use normal alkaline batteries or rechargeable (ni-cad) batteries and then you can use the existing charger.
BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED
Please note the RC Train does not have an on-off switch. We do not recommend leaving the batteries pushed in when not in use.
If you have left your original battery pack in for a long time, it's likely the batteries will have leaked. You will see a green/white powder on the battery terminals in the train. This will need to be removed before the new battery pack will work. Please see our article in The Thistle Whistle December 2025 for details of how to repair this.
